Golfing Facilities in the Las Vegas Area

The peak season for golf is during October to May. After sunset the temperature falls and a light sweater would be appropriate attire. The temperature during the day is more bearable than the HOT heat during June through September. Green fees are usually reduced during the summer season. If you wish to have a morning tee time it is best to plan ahead. Some tee times must be scheduled 60 days in advance! You may want to consider that Las Vegas is in the high desert at 2,000 feet elevation when you are making your club selections.

There are two outstanding courses not listed. The Shadow Creek Country Club is privately owned by Mirage Resorts, Inc. and is played only by Steve Wynn, Chairman of the Mirage, and his guest. The other course is the Tournament Players club at Summerlin. This, too, is a private course and requires a membership.
