Skiing

With the help of snow making equipment Lee Canyon in the Spring Mountains (45 minutes from Las Vegas) has skiing from November through the beginning of April. Due to the location of the canyon there is melting and freezing of the snow creating ice skiing. You may want to find out the conditions of the slop and if fresh snow has fallen before heading out for the day.
